BRONZE CONTOURLINE
Designer
Bodo SperleinDescription
German designer Bodo Sperlein revisits the curves and organic lines of the 20th-century Art Nouveau with a contemporary twist, refining the silhouettes to its bare contour. The designer introduced the original Contour series in 2009. Initially conceived in wood, Sperlein expands upon his original collection using bronze and different patina/finishes to highlight the elegant fluidity of the Contour lines. The cast bronze iteration and its dual polished and rough patinas emphasize the Contour's curves with a tactile sensuality.
