Maison Intègre is a collective of artisans in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso brought together by Ambre Jarno in 2017. The workshop was founded with mission to foster one of West Africa's long craftsmanship lineages, and bridge the craftsmen's work and cultural heritage to the world through ongoing collaborations with international guest artists. With relentless efforts and commitment, Maison Intègre founder Ambre Jarno and the team of Burkinabe artisans carry on the lost wax bronze casting technique that has largely remained unchanged since its inception millennia ago.
Resulting from the immersive collaboration of French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance and Maison Intègre's metalsmiths, this series of eight sculptural wall pieces is an homage to the expressive nature of West African ritual masks.
