In 2011, Sèvres – Cité de la céramique ordered from François Dumas the creation of new shapes of vases, destined to become part of Sèvres’ collections. Dumas created four new vase shapes of great simplicity and sinuous lines, resembling a stack of molds. These vases, also available in Bleu de Sèvres color, were exhibited for the first time at the Villa Noailles in 2011. They serve as blank shapes, offered to the imagination of the artists invited at Sèvres.
