ST SULPICE BENCH

From the Domeau & Peres Editions In 2011, commissioned for the first Carven shop in Paris, French designer Eric Chevallier revived one of the studio’s fondest childhood memories with this sleek and elegant version of a school bench. The design was later edited for Karl Lagerfeld to include an optional backrest. The seat is made of three slats upholstered in leather or wool cloth. The optional back is also upholstered and offers a comfortable back-rest option. This collaboration between Domeau Pérès and Eric Chevalier reflects the craftsmanship excellence of the Parisian workshop and their signature elegance and whimsy.
