For over thirty years, Belgian designer and interior architect Leo Aerts has committed his industrial design work to address his ongoing concerns for sustainability and longevity in design with timeless silhouettes and simple lines that emphasize craftsmanship precision and materials quality. Following numerous collaborations with European manufacturers, Aerts introduced Alinea in 1995, a small signature collection of furniture pieces and objects hand-crafted in Northern Italy with hand-picked stones.
His designs have won numerous national and international awards, including Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award, Good Design Award in Chicago, and AZ Award in Toronto.
