NymphenburgDescription
In the heyday of the Rococo Period, it was frowned upon to decorate a table with real flowers as it was possible that they could wither or their scent could detract from the pleasure of the meal. Were it not for manner-conscious courtiers, the mastery of the handmade Nymphenburg blossoms may not have unfolded with such variety. Without the use of dies, the hands of our craftspeople gradually form the miniatures into a flower through the careful shaping and adding of dozens of individual leaves, fine filaments, and delicate stems. Each one of these table flowers, big or small, hand-painted or in their original pure white porcelain color, is as unique as their natural archetype.
