Description
The Wiener Wamperl (literally: Viennese Belly Pot) conveys the playful functionality of Vienna’s former Biedermeier culture with lightness and elegance. Empress Elisabeth “Sissi” chose this cutlery, together with the Sissi Spoon, in 1895 for her dairy farm - The Kammermeierei in Schönbrunn. Arthur Krupp in Berndorf manufactured this pattern in German’s Alpaca silver, which was a recent discovery of the time. Today Wiener Silber continues to fabricate this iconic Biedermeier cutlery in solid silver.
